How long until they catch up?

Turns out boomers, which nowadays includes anyone between the age of 50 and 69, are not as “social” as the young’uns. No, I’m not talking about regular socializing, as I’m sure this group does just fine Friday nights at “Sneaky Dee’s” or Sunday mornings at the Church of The GoodLife Fitness.

I also know this is NOT news to anyone related to — or who knows of, or actually IS — someone who totally loses it whenever their iPad, laptop or mobile phone does not do what it is supposed to, damn it! Personally, I’ve lost count of the times I’ve had to calm down my 67-year-old step mom while I help her “find” her own Facebook account or show her how to answer an email. Again.

And yet, as the piece below from shows, boomers are having the last laugh. No, they may not be the most technologically or social media savvy… TODAY. However, they have the most money. And best of all, they know how to spend it:
